Business continuity has evolved into a whole company practice that demands executive-level governance and management while returning rich benefits in the way of operational excellence, asset availability and regulatory compliance. No longer relegated to and budgeted within the IT department, business continuity is claiming a sharpened focus throughout the enterprise, safeguarding people, critical systems and critical processes from the boardroom to the back office.
